Barbados is welcoming guests to visit and stay on Barbados during COVID. The government has outlined a detailed policy for travelers. Barbados Blue features Barbados quarantined approved villas. To enter the island travelers must meet the island's COVID related travel policy.

Summary of Barbados Entry Requirements and Quarantine protocols

Applicable from 30 January 2022, the updated travel protocols for Barbados may be summarized as follows:

Fully Vaccinated Adult Visitors : NO QUARANTINE REQUIREMENT !!

The requirement for testing and quarantine on arrival for fully vaccinated travelers to Barbados is no longer applicable provided they present proof of a valid negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test taken within 3 days prior to arrival OR proof of a valid negative Rapid-PCR COVID-19 test taken within 1 day prior to arrival! Fully vaccinated guests (and minors under 18 being accompanied by them) will now be able to enjoy Barbados freely from the day they arrive!

So to recap :

Take a RT-PCR COVID-19 test within 3 days prior to arrival in Barbados OR a Rapid COVID-19 PCR test within 1 day to arrival in Barbados. Please note Rapid PCR is different than rapid antigen test. (Self administered tests are not accepted).
Must have proof of fully vaccinated status
Upload your PCR test results via the BIMSafe App and travel with a copy of your test results clearing showing the date of the test.
Complete your online Customs / Immigration form on the BIMSafe App or at travelform.gov.bb at least 24 hours prior to travel. The details must be validated.
Depart the airport in the transportation of your choice and enjoy Barbados safely.
Children under 18 who have not been vaccinated but are traveling with fully vaccinated adults will be permitted to adhere to the same guidelines as their fully vaccinated guardians.
If an unvaccinated adult visitor is traveling with a fully vaccinated adult visitor and they chose to share their rental accommodation, the protocols applicable to unvaccinated adult visitor will also apply to all visitors in the party.

Must have a RT-PCR COVID-19 test 3 days prior to arrival OR a Rapid Covid-19 PCR test 1 day prior to arrival. Negative results required for travel.
Upload your PCR test results via the BIMSafe App and travel with a copy of your test results clearing showing the date of the test.
Complete your online Customs / Immigration form on the BIMSafe App or at travelform.gov.bb at least 24 hours prior to travel. The details must be validated. 2nd COVID-19 PCR test 4 days after arrival.
May be cleared from quarantine 5 days after (depending on return of test results).
All persons will be required to quarantine at approved quarantine properties at their own expense. Quarantine security fees must be paid by the guest.

**ALL visitors must travel with a valid negative COVID-19 PCR test result (in English).
With specific reference to the type of PCR test required and accepted for entry into Barbados Specific Requirements:

The specimen taken must be a nasopharyngeal or oropharyngeal swab (or both) taken by a healthcare provider
The sample must be taken within 3 days (RT-PCR) or 1 day (Rapid PCR) prior to arrival.
The laboratory performing the test must be an accredited, certified or recognized facility

Please note that the following will NOT be accepted:

Nasal swab samples
Saliva samples
Self-administered tests (even if the sample was taken under the supervision of a healthcare provider)
Home kits

GUIDELINES WHILE IN BARBADOS

Guests must quarantine until 2nd negative test result is received
Guests can freely travel around the island once quarantine is over
Masks and social distancing is required when possible.

COVID testing can be arranged for your return flight. Guests can either choose to have testing at their villa (select villas apply) or visit a COVID testing center in Barbados

Offer PCR Tests at US $200 per person (all ages) or Group Rate for 3 people or more of US $175 per person
Offer Rapid Antigen Tests at US $100 per person (all ages).

Urgent Care Clinic based tests :

Testing clinics are now drive-thru only.
Offer PCR Tests at US $140 per person (all ages). Results available the following day.
Offer Rapid Antigen Tests at US $50 per person (all ages) NOTE : Accepted for USA travel. Results available within 30 mins. Report within 2 hours.
Drive Thru Clinics: two locations (1) Welches, St. Thomas (opposite Cost-U-Less) and (2) Sky Mall, Haggatt Hall, St Michael which are open from 8am to 5pm daily.

Important additional info from Urgent Care:

We conduct PCRs at your quarantine accommodation - hotel or villa with results the next morning. Please note, we do our last PCR tests for next day results, at 5:45pm.
