Close to Holetown on Barbados is the Villa the Summer House. Part of the exclusive resort property known as the Sugar Hill Estates, it is an idyllic blend of resort privileges and a private, upscale residential property. The four-bedroom villa is a fantastic example of colorful, island décor and style, and it offers a wealth of wonderful features.
One that is sure to be a favorite is the pool terrace. Featuring a free-form pool and stone surround, it is tucked into a private courtyard space with palms and walls for optimal screening. It backs up to the portico area where your outdoor living room and al fresco dining can be savored. Through the enormous French doors, you enter the great room, which is also a colorfully decorated space.
Here, the open floor plan includes the elegant formal dining room that looks out towards the gorgeous scenery and the casual living room with its oversized sofa and armchairs in addition to an entertainment system. Just a few steps away is the fully-equipped kitchen with its premium appliances, marble countertops and enormous amount of work space.
The four bedrooms are divided between the main house and a small garden bungalow. The master suite is in the villa and is a king suite. The other bedrooms in the villa are a king and a dual twin suite. All have private baths and views. The bungalow is like a separate property with living space and bedroom.
The Sugar Hill Estates privileges include the use of the clubhouse, the high end restaurant and bar, the tennis courts, the fitness center, the enormous swimming pool and the lounge for members.
All of these features add up to make the Villa the Summer House a wonderful find ideal for friends or a family to enjoy as they relish their Barbados getaway.

While available for advanced requests, the concierge team connects with guests 30 days prior to arrival to coordinate arrivals and to reserve desired services and experiences. Guests with scheduled Christmas/New Year stays will be contacted 90 days prior to arrival.
For example, a 5 bedroom villa that offers a 3 bedroom rate will be the exclusive use of the guest but two bedrooms and their en-suite bathrooms will be locked off. Capacity is capped at 2 guests per bedroom.
