Villa La Maison Michelle Barbados. With its blend of modern design and classic charm, the Villa La Maison Michelle is a perfect choice for the large group hoping to savor a luxurious retreat in Barbados. Set along the western "platinum" coast, this seven-bedroom gem is just above the sea in the coveted St. James area of the island.

Though the beaches are a short drive and the prestigious golfing moments away, you may never want to stray far from the beautiful grounds that surround this spacious villa. At the heart of the property is the gorgeous pool terrace that features an infinity edge pool that gazes out to the rolling landscape. Flanked by your oversized gazebo where al fresco dining and lounging are a must, it is a perfect gathering place at all hours. The pool is also capped by a lovely sun deck with water fountain and sun beds. Just above are some of the open-air terraces and from there you can enter the courtyards and gardens concealed within the premises itself.

Inside the villa, visitors will be delighted by the beauty of the décor and the ease with which the designers have managed to blur the lines between interior spaces and the airy and beautiful exteriors that surround them. There are several lounges, a media room and home theater, and a great room with bar, living room and dining area.

The bedrooms are divided between the main area of the villa and a small cottage attached to the property. The bedroom suites are all premium rooms with king beds, oversized baths, and access to terraces, balconies or the gardens.

Ideal for a large family or group, the Villa La Maison Michelle is for the most discerning and is easily a perfect choice for those who wish to enjoy their vacation from one, luxurious setting.

On Saturday, February 9, my husband and I arrived in Barbados to join our friend in the celebration of her 65th birthday. Upon our arrival to La Maison Michelle we were greeted by the property manager Kemar Greaves. Kemar was eager and hospitable in our welcoming and entire stay. La Maison Michelle is wonderful. The villa is beautiful with every amenity imaginable. Our 7 day stay exceeded our expectations. If you are planning or celebrating a monumental event, or just a simple vacation/holiday chose to stay at La Maison Michelle. You will not be disappointed with the location, view, professional chef, housekeeping, security, and grounds keeper.

I along with 12 other people stayed here for our 40th birthday celebration and had a ball. The staff was great. Kemar was the greatest. He went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. The grounds were lovely. We had enough room to be without seeming like we were on top of each other constantly. While here we had hired chef services. For the amount of people that stayed we didn’t have enough food to last thru our stay. We had to have the chef shop again. The WiFi sucked. Only great when you were in the tv room or main room. Even tho it was their rainy season we still had ample time in the pool. Watch out for the couch in the Tv room. Everyone I mean everyone fell asleep without knowing. Those couches were so comfortable. Great place to stay overall

Group of 13 of us went and to summarize everyone's feedback - House was AMAZING. Pictures did not do it justice. Staff was awesome! Chef Javi and the food was excellent. Housekeeping was great! Words cannot describe the service Kemar provided. He was the BOMB!!! If we could've taken him home with us, we would've. He was very attentive and made sure we did not want for anything. Best vacation experience ever!

I celebrated a good friends 30th birthday with 12 people in total in our party. From the moment we arrived, my friends and I were greeted by the staff who were exceptionally courteous and friendly. The spacious house was perfect for the getaway!!!! It had everything we needed. The pool was divine, I got a workout in during the day and also my friends got to enjoy the movie room. Such a wonderful time spent at the house that it felt like we never had to leave it!

Shout out to Kemar, the main operations host who really made sure we had EVERYTHING we needed. By the end of our stay he had become a friend.

I look forward to staying here again! Highly recommended!

We had a perfect trip and stay at La Maison Michelle. We will definitely consider coming again. The only difficulties we had was with the WiFi. We would recommend that 3 more access points be installed like was installed in the cottage. I would recommend placing one in the entrance area, the living/kitchen area, and the outdoor pool area. This would not be a big expense and would really enhance the villa for enjoying social media and for email access.

Otherwise, we could not have asked for a nicer vacation. Thank you.

Common Questions

Do we share the villa? click to close

No. You will not share the villa with another party. The villa is exclusively yours. If a larger villa offers a lower bedroom rate category, the villa will remain exclusively yours but the unrented bedrooms will be locked off.
For example, a 5 bedroom villa that offers a 3 bedroom rate will be the exclusive use of the guest but two bedrooms and their en-suite bathrooms will be locked off. Capacity is capped at 2 guests per bedroom.

Yes. Barbados Blue stands behind you throughout your entire vacation. Unlike other companies, each property we offer has been hand picked to ensure that our standards are met. All property managers are vetted and payments are required to be held in escrow. Our primary obligation is to ensure your satisfaction and to have an exceptionally memorable vacation.

Can you explain the reservation process? click to open

Once a reservation request is received, Barbados Blue will request a contract from the property manager for your dates of interest. Once the dates are confirmed and contract is received from the property manager, a payment will be required to confirm your reservation.
Once a reservation is confirmed, a concierge will welcome you to the planning stages of your vacation to assist with arrival logistics, rental cars, transfers, and a host of concierge services.

Can we arrange an early check in? click to open

Early check in may be possible but is at the sole discretion of the property manager. Early check in permission may not be granted until 24 hours prior to arrival.

Can we arrange a late check out? click to open

A late check out is rarely granted due to the turnover needs of a villa. A late check out may only be granted 24 hours prior to your departure from the property and only when there is no check in scheduled on the day of your check out. If a late check out is urgently needed please contact us.

Are transfers to the property included? click to open

Select villas may include a one way or roundtrip airport transfer while others may provide an escort or meeting point. Arrival logistics will be handled by your dedicated concierge as well as other concierge needs. The property's transfer policy will be listed under the Policies section.

What to expect upon arrival? click to open

In general, a villa orientation will be provided along with a key turnover. During the orientation, information and instructions for the property will be provided. Emergency contact information will be provided. We are available 7 days a week to assist with any urgent needs.
The arrival procedures due vary from villa to villa, select villas may include welcome provisioning while other properties will provide basic arrival information.

Since these vacation homes are one of a kind properties, the cancellation policy is strict. We highly recommend considering trip/travel insurance to protect against any unexpected cancellations or issues that may arise.

What happens if the property becomes unavailable after I reserve? click to open

In the unlikely event, the rented property becomes unavailable due to a major issue that may affect a guest's experience or a transfer of ownership, Barbados Blue will coordinate with the property manager to find an alternate property of equal or superior standard that is subject to the guest's approval. If an alternate property is not acceptable to the guest, the guest will receive a full refund.

Yes, we accept all major credit cards. American Express, Visa, Mastercard and Discover are accepted. Please note that credit card charges may be subject to additional fees. There are no fees with payment by wire transfer or check.

Housekeeping tends to be a standard among vacation homes but the frequency may vary greatly depending on the property manager’s standards. Most properties will offer daily housekeeping (except Sunday and holidays) while other villas may only provide a mid-week cleaning. Yes. The property will provide bath and pool towels along with linens. Towels and linens will be refreshed as needed.

A property may supply an initial supply of soap, shampoo, toilet paper and paper towels but replenishment of supplies once exhausted may be the responsibility of the guest. Each property varies in their handling of toiletries and paper products.
