Sitting right above the sea in the coveted Christchurch area of Barbados, Villa Hectors House is a truly stunning find. An expansive and regal property, it features a long list of amenities that make it a destination in its own right.
Start with the lovely gardens and grounds that make for house of fun and relaxation, then move on to the easy access to the beach just below. That alone might make it well worth a visit, but then there is the enormous pool terrace with its L-shaped pool that features an infinity edge design that leads the eye directly to the sea and scenery beyond. It is furnished with a large sun deck at each end, and opens to the covered verandah.
Verandahs and terraces are a huge part of a visit to the three-bedroom home as they are found at every level. There is the pool level terrace, the upper level verandah and open-air living spaces, and even the stunning rooftop terrace for amazing sunrise, sunset and stargazing views.
The elegant design of the home is inspired by classic island architecture and the use of native stone and a palette of pale green and sand makes it soothing whether indoors or out. There are, as noted, many al fresco lounging and dining spaces, but inside are equally appealing spots for a group to gather. A large lounge with banquette sofa and entertainment system is sure to appeal to the crowd, and when it is mealtime, the luxurious gourmet kitchen is a delight. Sit together around the marble-topped breakfast bar or enjoy use of the high-end appliances before taking just one or two steps to the terrace. There is also a fully-functional office for those who find they need to work remotely while enjoying a stay.
The three bedrooms are meant to be personal retreats and have a nautical and island theme. There are two on the first floor and one on the second floor. All feature ocean or garden views, large and private baths, and elegant design and décor. The master suite has a dressing room, as well.
The Villa Hectors House is a real gem and a wonderful find. It places travelers just where they need to be in order to enjoy the very best that Barbados makes available. With multiple levels of living space and truly excellent amenities, it will be a perfect spot for a perfect getaway.

For new bookings the Property Manager is modifying the payment policy as follows :
~ 30% deposit due at the time of booking to confirm the reservation
~ Balance due 60 days prior to arrival
For new bookings the Property Manager is modifying the cancellation policy as follows :
~ If guests cancel the reservation more than 45 days prior to the arrival, 10% of the Gross Rental will be forfeited.
~ If guests cancel the reservation within 45 days of the arrival date, 100% of the Gross Rental will be forfeited
The Covid-19 Modified Cancellation Policy is applicable in the event that :
1. The Barbados government refuses passengers’ entry based on their origin (whether by residence, recent travel to a particular destination, or based on flight origin).
2. A Foreign government issues a specific travel ban to or from Barbados that prevents a guest from traveling.
3. A Foreign Commonwealth Office (FCO) Advisory against Barbados must exist.

The villa was beautiful! We were able to speak with the actual owner of the villa who made sure all of our needs were met and made our stay a great one! The house manager was the best part of our stay. He was super easy to reach, extremely courteous and made us feel very comfortable. We would definitely stay again.
