Schooner Bay on Barbados is a stunning collection of upscale waterfront condominiums with beautiful views of the Caribbean Sea. This exclusive gated community offers the privacy and tranquility you need for a rejuvenating island getaway. The Schooner Bay complex is comprised of just 30 luxury units in a lush tropical setting punctuated by swaying palm trees, island greenery and gorgeous colorful flowers.

Guests will enjoy direct access to the powdery white sand beaches of Barbados scenic west coast. An inviting free-form swimming pool is in the heart of the community, enhanced by charming bridges and a shaded gazebo. Each unit is tastefully decorated with a tropical flair and a offers a host of desirable amenities, such as granite counter tops and marble flooring.

Schooner Bay 306, Penthouse on Barbados, is a well-appointed two-story penthouse apartment which offers an idyllic beachfront living experience. The floor plan, encompassing 3,322 sq. ft., has three air-conditioned bedrooms with opulent en suite bathrooms featuring marble tiling throughout. The master and main guest bathrooms feature twin sinks, bath and separate corner showers.

A low density building with just four floors results in higher ceiling heights than are typically found in newer west coast developments, enhancing the luxuriously airy atmosphere. The large, covered terrace runs adjacent to the living room, providing lovely sea views as well as attractive views of the communal pool and gardens. It has plenty of space for family dinners, sunset cocktails or simply relaxing.

The villa was extremely comfortable overlooking the Caribbean ocean and the swimming pool. In the afternoon we would sit on the patio and enjoy the wonderful cool breezes coming from the east. The kitchen was very well equipped with pots/pans/glasses, silverware and serving pieces. We enjoyed using the BBQ and the Jacuzzi located on the top floor. The master bedroom was very spacious with walk in closets, an over sized marble bathroom and the king size bed was extremely comfortable. The guest bedroom located on the main level with french doors to the patio, was also very comfortable with walk in closets and a well designed marble bathroom. The housekeeper Rose, was a great asset to the villa and she attended to the cleaning of the villa/changing sheets/washing towels and personal items during her 3 -4 hour visit. All in all, I would highly recommend this villa, as the owner has paid particular attention to detail and comfort. I thought the location was terrific as it is located in walking distance to the old trading port of Speightstown with its many colonial buildings now existing in harmony with modern buildings.
Isle Blue services were First class, no detailed overlooked and all arrangements went very smoothly from our arrival in Barbados, the meet and greet at the airport, transfer to the villa, delivery of our rental car at the villa and our departure to the airport. All of the representatives were very courteous, on time and a pleasure to work with.

We enjoyed a family vacation at Schooner Bay #306 for two weeks We thoroughly enjoyed the villa which was extremely clean, very well serviced, fully equipped kitchen with plenty of serving pieces, glasses, silverware etc., jacuzzi and BBQ on the top level. The master bedroom upstairs was very large and the king size bed was extremely comfortable. The oversized marble bathroom was more than adequate with a large walk in closet and safe. The guest bedroom on the main level with french doors opening onto the patio was again very comfortable with walk in closets and a large marble bathroom. The villa is fully air-conditioned with the addition of ceiling fans in all the rooms. Morning coffee and afternoon cocktails were enjoyed on the large well furnished patio. In the late afternoon, cool breezes from the east allowed you to enjoy the sunset without being forced inside by the heat of the afternoon. The large swimming pool in addition to the beach were at your doorstep. Security was excellent and all personnel very friendly and accommodating. The owner has put a lot of thought into every aspect of making her guests as comfortable as they would be in their own home. I highly recommend this lovely, relaxing villa and its location in walking distance to Speightstown (one of Barbados historic towns) with oceanside restaurants, colonial buildings and fresh vegetable and fish markets along the curbside, which is an added plus to the location of Schooner Bay.

Common Questions
Do we share the villa? click to close
No. You will not share the villa with another party. The villa is exclusively yours. If a larger villa offers a lower bedroom rate category, the villa will remain exclusively yours but the unrented bedrooms will be locked off.
For example, a 5 bedroom villa that offers a 3 bedroom rate will be the exclusive use of the guest but two bedrooms and their en-suite bathrooms will be locked off. Capacity is capped at 2 guests per bedroom.

Yes. Barbados Blue stands behind you throughout your entire vacation. Unlike other companies, each property we offer has been hand picked to ensure that our standards are met. All property managers are vetted and payments are required to be held in escrow. Our primary obligation is to ensure your satisfaction and to have an exceptionally memorable vacation.
Can you explain the reservation process? click to open
Once a reservation request is received, Barbados Blue will request a contract from the property manager for your dates of interest. Once the dates are confirmed and contract is received from the property manager, a payment will be required to confirm your reservation.
Once a reservation is confirmed, a concierge will welcome you to the planning stages of your vacation to assist with arrival logistics, rental cars, transfers, and a host of concierge services.
Can we arrange an early check in? click to open
Early check in may be possible but is at the sole discretion of the property manager. Early check in permission may not be granted until 24 hours prior to arrival.
Can we arrange a late check out? click to open
A late check out is rarely granted due to the turnover needs of a villa. A late check out may only be granted 24 hours prior to your departure from the property and only when there is no check in scheduled on the day of your check out. If a late check out is urgently needed please contact us.
Are transfers to the property included? click to open
Select villas may include a one way or roundtrip airport transfer while others may provide an escort or meeting point. Arrival logistics will be handled by your dedicated concierge as well as other concierge needs. The property's transfer policy will be listed under the Policies section.
What to expect upon arrival? click to open
In general, a villa orientation will be provided along with a key turnover. During the orientation, information and instructions for the property will be provided. Emergency contact information will be provided. We are available 7 days a week to assist with any urgent needs.
The arrival procedures due vary from villa to villa, select villas may include welcome provisioning while other properties will provide basic arrival information.

Since these vacation homes are one of a kind properties, the cancellation policy is strict. We highly recommend considering trip/travel insurance to protect against any unexpected cancellations or issues that may arise.

What happens if the property becomes unavailable after I reserve? click to open
In the unlikely event, the rented property becomes unavailable due to a major issue that may affect a guest's experience or a transfer of ownership, Barbados Blue will coordinate with the property manager to find an alternate property of equal or superior standard that is subject to the guest's approval. If an alternate property is not acceptable to the guest, the guest will receive a full refund.

Yes, we accept all major credit cards. American Express, Visa, Mastercard and Discover are accepted. Please note that credit card charges may be subject to additional fees. There are no fees with payment by wire transfer or check.

Housekeeping tends to be a standard among vacation homes but the frequency may vary greatly depending on the property manager’s standards. Most properties will offer daily housekeeping (except Sunday and holidays) while other villas may only provide a mid-week cleaning. Please refer to the Staff section to learn about the housekeeping frequency of the property.

Yes. The property will provide bath and pool towels along with linens. Towels and linens will be refreshed as needed.

A property may supply an initial supply of soap, shampoo, toilet paper and paper towels but replenishment of supplies once exhausted may be the responsibility of the guest. Each property varies in their handling of toiletries and paper products.
