One of the most coveted locations in Barbados is the Royal Westmoreland Resort, and the Villa Mahogany Drive 15 is among the newest properties in this prestigious, world-class destination. It is a four-bedroom gem tucked into gorgeous gardens and grounds and with views of the fairways as well as the property itself.
And while the resort is dense with amenities, there is much to love about the villa, too. Let’s first consider the resort, and then do a closer look at the villa. As a visitor to the Royal Westmoreland, you enjoy multiple restaurants and eateries and spa treatments. You also have use of the world-class, par 72, 7,045-yard golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. There are tennis courts, fitness centers and the beach club.
And yet, the villa has an astonishing list of premier amenities, too. Begin with the gorgeous pool terrace. With its elegantly shaped pool and stone sun deck and surround, it will quickly become one of your favorite spaces. Dine beneath the gracious verandah or lounge on the sofas nearby. Step through the arched doors into the great room and savor the welcoming surroundings and spaces. There is a lounge, a media area, and a formal dining suite nearby. You have a large, gourmet kitchen to help with mealtimes or late night snacks, and you have the bedrooms.
Divided evenly between the upper and lower floors, the bedrooms are luxurious suites. Three are queen suites and the master suite is a king bedroom. The ground floor rooms open to the terrace and the upper-level suites have great views. All have private baths.

While available for advanced requests, the concierge team connects with guests 30 days prior to arrival to coordinate arrivals and to reserve desired services and experiences. Guests with scheduled Christmas/New Year stays will be contacted 90 days prior to arrival.
For example, a 5 bedroom villa that offers a 3 bedroom rate will be the exclusive use of the guest but two bedrooms and their en-suite bathrooms will be locked off. Capacity is capped at 2 guests per bedroom.
The Mullins Beach Club sustained damage from the rough seas during the passage of Hurricane Beryl on the 1 July 2024. As a result it is closed for reconstruction, no completion date has been issued so far.
However, Mullins Beach is open and guests staying at properties that include Mullins Beach Club Membership can get a lounge chair, parasol and beach towels from the beach attendants as is customary. The car parking facility at Singita Wellness is still open to guests with membership. Bathroom facilities are located across the road from the beach club and are separate from Singita’s bathrooms. The SeaShed beach bar / restaurant is located next door to the Mullins Beach Club and will be open everyday from 11:30am (always check directly with the SeaShed for changes to opening days / times), this is a recommended option.
