Villa Westshore Beach House Barbados. Do you crave a private beach house experience of beautiful Barbados? If your vision includes an enormous stretch of private golden sands, a large garden and surrounding forest of native palms and trees, and a long list of amenities inside, the charming Villa Westshore Beach House is just for you. Located along the west coast of the island, close to St. James, it is convenient to shopping and dining, but you may find it hard to tear yourself away from this private paradise.

While having the beach just steps from your front door is enough to convince anyone, there is so much more to this wonderful, four-bedroom property. As you make your way from the sands and through your front gate you enter a walled courtyard that houses a charming plunge pool, sun deck and lounge space. A portico offers shade from the sun and serves as a lovely entrance into the ground floor.

The great room is decorated in a palette of cream and sand is truly elegant. It features a large, antique dining table that opens to the gourmet kitchen. With its premium, stainless appliances and slate blue décor, it is a dream of a working space. Nearby is the charming, island inspired lounge area. Upstairs you find an entertainment space, too.

The upper level also features another sun deck furnished as al fresco lounge and morning coffee spot. Three of the four bedrooms are on this upper level and feature private baths, entertainment systems and absolutely lovely décor inspired by the blue and white theme on the lower level. There are two king suites and one dual single suite. On the ground floor is a premium king suite with oversized bath.

Ideal for a family or group of discerning travelers, the Villa Westshore Beach House is sure to delight all who enjoy a stay.

The rental rates include : Welcome upon arrival and villa orientation, housekeeping service 6 days per week, pool technician weekly, gardener regularly, villa manager on call and utilities (water, electricity, BBQ gas / charcoal , WiFi internet coverage). Provisions and staff gratuities are not included.

Arrival Information: Guests staying at this property should choose the Barbados North Coast Transfer service area for airport transfers. We highly recommend the Barbados Fast Track service to expedite your arrival and avoid long waits at customs.

Our family stayed at Westshore Beach House for a week and it was a phenomenal location. The house is perfect for a relaxing trip. The Chef, Linda is outstanding. She served us delicious home cooked meals every day. We had thought about eating out but after having her food we decided to eat at home every day. She was also extremely friendly and kind. Her daughter Janelle came and helped out too and she was awesome as well. There was daily cleaning and Laundry was done every other day. You don’t need to bring a lot of clothes here! The beach is private and the water is gentle and untouched and is perfect for relaxing. We saw plenty of sea life! The house is the perfect sport for a sunset. There are plenty of lounge chairs and towels to take to the beach. The concierge helped us with booking taxis and they also help with excursions. The grocery store is also very close and has everything you could need. We were all sad to leave and will definitely be back to the same house soon! Thank you!!

This holiday was the holiday of a life time. Nothing could be faulted the house is beautiful, the layout just perfect, the position ideal.
We were spoilt rotten by Linda and Janelle their food is to die for and they just couldn’t be more helpful.

Sunbathing on the terrace; quick cool down in the plunge pool, steps straight onto the amazing beach and crystal clear water what more can you ask for.

We did eat out at Fishpots and the Lone Star bit pricey but very delicious. Both close and easy to get to, the reggae bus was a hit with the family !

For snorkelling/boat trips use holiday planner and bliss boat #1 they were great fun !

I could carry on for pages but you get the idea.

Wanted to say a big big thank you for having us in your beautiful home and cannot wait to come back!

As soon as we stepped into the Westshore beach house in St James we knew we'd arrived in paradise.

The house is one of the closest properties to the sea and
as if the stunning views out to the ocean from the upstairs terrace is not enough, every bedroom is massive and comes with an en-suite bathroom and air conditioning. There's also a large kitchen and downstairs terrace with sun loungers and a plunge pool. The whole house is exquisitely decorated in a simple yet stylish manner and Linda and Jeanelle couldn't have done more for us. They cooked us some fantastic dinners and lunches and we'll be taking the recipes back for the jerk chicken and curries. The location is excellent on the beautiful west coast and you can easily get buses or taxis to the towns along the beach to the north or south or simply take a stroll along the beach. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone and I hope to return one day.

The perfect retreat for beach worshippers who love a gorgeous home from home feel with a view to wow you daily ( especially at sunset with a glass of your favourite chilled wine or beer!) . The location is idyllic with the ability to immediately unwind with the assistance of the ever helpful and friendly housekeeper.
If you favour ambles along the beach the varied terrain and perfectly placed Mullins Bar does not disappoint. However if you seek more sophistication and adventure there are many glorious options to consider both from a dining and water sports perspective. The wonderful housekeeper has all the inside knowledge and provides a wonderful array of dishes too; don't miss the "must have" jerk chicken!
If you want to experience the local vibe you must hop on one off the local " reggae" buses; our sons enjoyed it so much they intentionally missed our stop!
The snorkelling from the beach is worth experiencing; we saw a turtle in the bay along with some eels and a beautiful variety of fish including the shy puffer fish (the largest we've seen) trigger and parrotfish amongst many others.
The beach house does not disappoint and makes you feel spoilt after your vacation in a wonderful part of the world. Loved it.

Common Questions
Do we share the villa? click to close
No. You will not share the villa with another party. The villa is exclusively yours. If a larger villa offers a lower bedroom rate category, the villa will remain exclusively yours but the unrented bedrooms will be locked off.
For example, a 5 bedroom villa that offers a 3 bedroom rate will be the exclusive use of the guest but two bedrooms and their en-suite bathrooms will be locked off. Capacity is capped at 2 guests per bedroom.
Are we protected from fraud? click to open
Yes. Barbados Blue stands behind you throughout your entire vacation. Unlike other companies, each property we offer has been hand picked to ensure that our standards are met. All property managers are vetted and payments are required to be held in escrow. Our primary obligation is to ensure your satisfaction and to have an exceptionally memorable vacation.
Can you explain the reservation process? click to open
Once a reservation request is received, Barbados Blue will request a contract from the property manager for your dates of interest. Once the dates are confirmed and contract is received from the property manager, a payment will be required to confirm your reservation.
Once a reservation is confirmed, a concierge will welcome you to the planning stages of your vacation to assist with arrival logistics, rental cars, transfers, and a host of concierge services.
Can we arrange an early check in? click to open
Early check in may be possible but is at the sole discretion of the property manager. Early check in permission may not be granted until 24 hours prior to arrival.
Can we arrange a late check out? click to open
A late check out is rarely granted due to the turnover needs of a villa. A late check out may only be granted 24 hours prior to your departure from the property and only when there is no check in scheduled on the day of your check out. If a late check out is urgently needed please contact us.
Are transfers to the property included? click to open
Select villas may include a one way or roundtrip airport transfer while others may provide an escort or meeting point. Arrival logistics will be handled by your dedicated concierge as well as other concierge needs. The property's transfer policy will be listed under the Policies section.
What to expect upon arrival? click to open
In general, a villa orientation will be provided along with a key turnover. During the orientation, information and instructions for the property will be provided. Emergency contact information will be provided. We are available 7 days a week to assist with any urgent needs.
The arrival procedures due vary from villa to villa, select villas may include welcome provisioning while other properties will provide basic arrival information.

Since these vacation homes are one of a kind properties, the cancellation policy is strict. We highly recommend considering trip/travel insurance to protect against any unexpected cancellations or issues that may arise.

What happens if the property becomes unavailable after I reserve? click to open
In the unlikely event, the rented property becomes unavailable due to a major issue that may affect a guest's experience or a transfer of ownership, Barbados Blue will coordinate with the property manager to find an alternate property of equal or superior standard that is subject to the guest's approval. If an alternate property is not acceptable to the guest, the guest will receive a full refund.

Yes, we accept all major credit cards. American Express, Visa, Mastercard and Discover are accepted. Please note that credit card charges may be subject to additional fees. There are no fees with payment by wire transfer or check.
In the near future, we expect to accept a greater variety of payment methods and currencies via Stripe.
Is housekeeping included? click to open
Housekeeping tends to be a standard among vacation homes but the frequency may vary greatly depending on the property manager’s standards. Most properties will offer daily housekeeping (except Sunday and holidays) while other villas may only provide a mid-week cleaning. Please refer to the Staff section to learn about the housekeeping frequency of the property.

Yes. The property will provide bath and pool towels along with linens. Towels and linens will be refreshed as needed.
Are toiletries and tissues provided? click to open
A property may supply an initial supply of soap, shampoo, toilet paper and paper towels but replenishment of supplies once exhausted may be the responsibility of the guest. Each property varies in their handling of toiletries and paper products.
Is a hair dryer available? click to open
A hair dryer should be available at the property. Upon arrival, please check the bathrooms or closet. Typically, a hair dryer is included in each bathroom.

Typically yes, irons tend to be standard equipment for vacation homes. Please ask the property representative upon orientation for the location of the iron.
