Tucked along the sands, it sits in a coveted location between Gibbs and Mullins Beaches. Framed in private gardens, it is replete with indoor and outdoor luxuries that make it a complete retreat on its own.
Take just a few steps to the sea or spend entire days lounging by your large, lagoon-style pool. Framed in private garden walls and a large stone terrace, it offers areas of dappled shade or full sun, and is within steps of a charming, tree-house styled gazebo. The two-story villa is the work of famed architect Larry Warren, and shows its inspiration (the Hemingway cottage in Key West) with its upper and lower level verandahs, use of pale coral stone and its devotion to blurring the lines between indoors and out.
With a household staff that includes a cook, your job is to simply enjoy the amazing array of spaces from which to savor sea views, relax in style and enjoy your precious down time. The pool is not the only area designed for optimal relaxation, and all of the verandah areas are beautifully decorated for comfort. There are spots for al fresco dining, hours of reading or chatting, and lounging by the sea.
Inside, the living spaces are airy and open to the views, with the great room featuring a pale palette offset by décor bursting with color. There is a great room with formal dining and a large lounge with premium entertainment system. The enormous kitchen is furnished with the very latest equipment, too.
The four bedrooms are all king suites, with the master suite enjoying the entire, sea-facing upper terrace. All bedrooms are ensuite with top of the line entertainment systems and direct terrace access. All of this makes the Villa Hemingway House an absolute delight whether enjoyed with family or friends.
Arrival Information: Guests staying at this property should choose the Barbados North Coast Transfer service area for airport transfers. We highly recommend the Barbados Fast Track service to expedite your arrival and avoid long waits at customs.
