This luxurious villa is part of the exclusive Sugar Hill Estate, and your stay gives you access to the community's fifty acres of manicured gardens and grounds, the fantastic Clubhouse and enormous pool, the state of the art fitness center with many ongoing classes and another swimming pool, four tennis courts, the wonderful restaurant, and beach club access at the Royal Pavilion Beach, part of the famous Fairmont Royal Pavilion Hotel.
Obviously, that rooftop terrace is going to be a major point of interest, and it should because it features an open air terrace furnished with a large Jacuzzi and sun deck. Beneath a portico, is a small bar, an al fresco dining area and an outdoor lounge. All of this sits just outside your appealing living room, with its palette of sea blues and sand it offers a wonderful spot to lounge, watch a movie or listen to music. Just a few steps away is the large and fully-equipped kitchen that makes it remarkably simple and fun to prepare everything from morning coffee to complex meals.
The two bedrooms both have access to the rooftop terrace. The master suite features a king bed, sitting area and private bath. The other is a dual twin with private bath.

~ If guests opt for deferral of dates, all monies paid will be applied to deferred dates and must be used within a 12-month period from original arrival date.
For new bookings made during the Christmas / New Year 2021/22 period, the property manager is modifying the cancellation policy as follows :

All payments remain non-refundable if the deferred dates are cancelled after rebooking new dates.
The Covid-19 Modified Cancellation Policy is applicable in the event that :
1. The Barbados government refuses passengers’ entry based on their origin (whether by residence, recent travel to a particular destination, or based on flight origin).
2. A Foreign government issues a specific travel ban to or from Barbados that prevents a guest from traveling.
3. A Level 3 Foreign Commonwealth Office (FCO) Advisory against Barbados must exist.

All I all it was very nice. Well furnished and nicely decorated. It could do with AC in the living room. Even with the drapes drawn closed it could get very warm and I didn't want to run both bedroom ac units to try to cool it down. Rather we opened the doors to the deck and let the breeze cool the room off and saved electricity. The owner had a penciled note on the hot water heater instructing the occupant to leave it turned off until 30 minutes before use. How are you supposed to bath or shower if you like to get up and bathe immediately ? 30 minutes was nowhere near enough time to heat the water. An hour was barely enough. I would switch the HW heater on when we went to bed
How to Improve: As an avid proponent of recycling, it would be a good idea to provide clearly marked recycling bins either in the villas or on the property.
Restaurant Recommendations: Tides, Lone Star, Zaccios and the Fish Pot were all very good.

We had a lovely visit to Sugar Hill Village in Barbados. Our unit was B306. The resort was immaculate and the apartment was lovely. We were a party of four and were quite comfortable throughout our stay.
Communications prior to our arrival were consistent and clear, with one exception. We found that the list price for the unit on AirBNB was not that which Caribound intended to charge for our stay. While the difference in rate was not of concern for us, it was not the best initial communication experience.
The arrival process was flawless and simple. The resort front desk had our keys and resort information, and collecting them was a simple and pleasant experience despite our evening arrival.
The unit was somewhat nicer than it appeared in the listing photos, and offered more services than were included in the listing. All of this was a nice bonus.
The weather in February was warm and breezy. We had occasional light rains but the stay resulted in good tans so all were happy.
Our host did a nice job of checking in on us throughout our 5 evening stay. There were no material issues encountered - one slow tub drain - but it was nice to know that our host was focused on our stay.
I would recommend a stay in Sugar Hill Village and Caribound did a nice job of managing our booking.
