Villa Westerings Barbados.  Golf enthusiasts will want to sit up and pay attention to the Villa the Westerings. This gorgeous, six-bedroom property sits at the 13th hole of the championship golf course of the world-famous golf course of the Royal Westmoreland property in Barbados.

As part of the exclusive Royal Westmoreland estate, guests to the villa enjoy use of the world-famous golf course, the private beach club at Mullins Bay, the pools on the grounds, the impressive tennis facilities, the fitness center, and the fabulous dining options. Your villa also provides you with a private cook to make three meals daily as well as a butler, laundress and maid.

Even if you are not a golf enthusiast, this stunning property will provide you with an idyllic setting for a tropical getaway. Crafted as two structures, the main villa and cottage both stand along the edge of the enormous, free-form pool and provide guests with stunning views from almost every window.

The expansive main villa features a lovely, large verandah alongside the pool, and it is furnished as a lounge and dining niche. It opens into the great room which features several living room and lounge areas, including a media room. The stunning, modern kitchen is on this level as well, and five of the bedrooms are in this building.

The cottage features a stunning games room with media center, air hockey, table tennis and more. Above is the sixth bedroom suite.

All of the bedrooms are luxurious and large, they feature a king bed or double, and each is equipped with high end electronics. Several open to the upper level terraces, and the bedroom in the cottage is on the upper floor with its own terrace.

For new bookings made for travel in 2021, the property manager is modifying the booking policy as follows :
~ 30% deposit at the time of booking
~ Balance due 45 days prior to arrival 
~ Christmas / New Year 2021/22 period: Balance due 60 days prior to arrival.

For new bookings made for travel in 2021, the property manager is modifying the cancellation policy as follows :
~ If guests cancel the reservation more than 15 days prior to the arrival, all monies paid will be refunded minus all bank charges, processing fee and US$250.00 administration fee.
~ If guests cancel the reservation within 15 days of the arrival date, 15% of the Gross Rental plus bank charges and processing fee will be forfeited. 
~ If guests opt for deferral of dates, all monies paid will be applied to deferred dates and must be used within a 12-month period from original arrival date. 

For new bookings made during the Christmas / New Year 2021/22 period, the property manager is modifying the cancellation policy as follows :
~ If guests cancel the reservation, 15% of the Gross Rental plus bank charges and processing fee will be forfeited. 
~ If guests opt for deferral of dates, all monies paid will be applied to deferred dates at the same property and must be used within a 12-month period from original arrival date.
All payments remain non-refundable if the deferred dates are cancelled after rebooking new dates.

The Covid-19 Modified Cancellation Policy is applicable in the event that :

1. The Barbados government refuses passengers’ entry based on their origin (whether by residence, recent travel to a particular destination, or based on flight origin).
2. A Foreign government issues a specific travel ban to or from Barbados that prevents a guest from traveling.
3. A Level 3 Foreign Commonwealth Office (FCO) Advisory against Barbados must exist.

Common Questions
Do we share the villa? click to close
No. You will not share the villa with another party. The villa is exclusively yours. If a larger villa offers a lower bedroom rate category, the villa will remain exclusively yours but the unrented bedrooms will be locked off.
For example, a 5 bedroom villa that offers a 3 bedroom rate will be the exclusive use of the guest but two bedrooms and their en-suite bathrooms will be locked off. Capacity is capped at 2 guests per bedroom.

Yes. Barbados Blue stands behind you throughout your entire vacation. Unlike other companies, each property we offer has been hand picked to ensure that our standards are met. All property managers are vetted and payments are required to be held in escrow. Our primary obligation is to ensure your satisfaction and to have an exceptionally memorable vacation.
Can you explain the reservation process? click to open
Once a reservation request is received, Barbados Blue will request a contract from the property manager for your dates of interest. Once the dates are confirmed and contract is received from the property manager, a payment will be required to confirm your reservation.
Once a reservation is confirmed, a concierge will welcome you to the planning stages of your vacation to assist with arrival logistics, rental cars, transfers, and a host of concierge services.
Can we arrange an early check in? click to open
Early check in may be possible but is at the sole discretion of the property manager. Early check in permission may not be granted until 24 hours prior to arrival.
Can we arrange a late check out? click to open
A late check out is rarely granted due to the turnover needs of a villa. A late check out may only be granted 24 hours prior to your departure from the property and only when there is no check in scheduled on the day of your check out. If a late check out is urgently needed please contact us.
Are transfers to the property included? click to open
Select villas may include a one way or roundtrip airport transfer while others may provide an escort or meeting point. Arrival logistics will be handled by your dedicated concierge as well as other concierge needs. The property's transfer policy will be listed under the Policies section.
What to expect upon arrival? click to open
In general, a villa orientation will be provided along with a key turnover. During the orientation, information and instructions for the property will be provided. Emergency contact information will be provided. We are available 7 days a week to assist with any urgent needs.
The arrival procedures due vary from villa to villa, select villas may include welcome provisioning while other properties will provide basic arrival information.

Since these vacation homes are one of a kind properties, the cancellation policy is strict. We highly recommend considering trip/travel insurance to protect against any unexpected cancellations or issues that may arise.

What happens if the property becomes unavailable after I reserve? click to open
In the unlikely event, the rented property becomes unavailable due to a major issue that may affect a guest's experience or a transfer of ownership, Barbados Blue will coordinate with the property manager to find an alternate property of equal or superior standard that is subject to the guest's approval. If an alternate property is not acceptable to the guest, the guest will receive a full refund.

Yes, we accept all major credit cards. American Express, Visa, Mastercard and Discover are accepted. Please note that credit card charges may be subject to additional fees. There are no fees with payment by wire transfer or check.
In the near future, we expect to accept a greater variety of payment methods and currencies via Stripe.
Is housekeeping included? click to open
Housekeeping tends to be a standard among vacation homes but the frequency may vary greatly depending on the property manager’s standards. Most properties will offer daily housekeeping (except Sunday and holidays) while other villas may only provide a mid-week cleaning. Please refer to the Policies section to learn about the housekeeping frequency of the property.

Yes. The property will provide bath and pool towels along with linens. Towels and linens will be refreshed as needed.
Are toiletries and tissues provided? click to open
A property may supply an initial supply of soap, shampoo, toilet paper and paper towels but replenishment of supplies once exhausted may be the responsibility of the guest. Each property varies in their handling of toiletries and paper products.
Is a hair dryer available? click to open
A hair dryer should be available at the property. Upon arrival, please check the bathrooms or closet. Typically, a hair dryer is included in each bathroom.

Typically yes, irons tend to be standard equipment for vacation homes. Please ask the property representative upon orientation for the location of the iron.

We hired the villa for a big birthday celebration for 12 nights in February. There were 10 of us staying at the villa. We did not hire the master suite, as we felt we wouldn't need the extra room. We didn't. The villa was very spacious with more than enough room for our party. I'm sure the master suite is beautiful and had our party been larger, I would definitely have booked it. The cottage is relatively basic, but was adequate for what we needed. The playroom was great and we made more use of it than I had expected.
The furnishings in the villa are nice, especially in the living areas. The bedrooms were also very nice with comfortable beds and good quality bed linen. The bathrooms and showers were generally good, though the blinds in a couple of the bathrooms could do with replacing, not easy to use, and a couple of them a bit shabby.
The pool is nice, but not large....certainly you might struggle to get ten sun beds around it- there were just 6. We were told that most guests seldom use the pool and go to the beach, but we do like to sit around the pool. I do think comfy sun beds with cushions would benefit the property, with maybe a few extra sun beds in storage to bring out when needed. These are small issues and did not spoil our holiday.
To conclude, the villa is very nice, but with a bit of attention could be excellent.
On previous visits to Barbados, we have stayed in hotels on the beach. On arrival at the villa, I must say I was a little concerned that it would not live up to expectations, due to its location (away from the beach) and it was a villa and not a hotel, where we would be waited on...I was wrong! The staff at the villa, made this holiday feel more special than I could have imagined. Junior (butler) and Tony(chef) literally could not do enough for you. Junior did all the driving, so making the journey to and from the beach was not an issue. Again, visiting restaurants in the evening Junior would take us and collect us. He did this with an easy going, obliging attitude and not once did we ever feel that it was hard work for him. He always reassured us that he was there for us, when needed and could not have done more to make our stay more comfortable. Tony was the same, always wanting to please us and going the extra mile to make our stay special. He cooked us delicious food and tailored it to our needs. Margaret and Janelle, the housekeepers both fabulous and again so helpful and obliging. Janelle even gave me a back massage on my birthday, as I had hurt my back. It was those 4 people that made our holiday and would leave a lasting impression on us all. At the end of the holiday, they felt more like friends....

14 adult family members gathered for a week . The villa has so much space the place never felt crowded . Junior the butler Tony the chef and Margaret and Janelle are just wonderful and made our stay unforgettable . Junior is such a professional and his attentive service , organisation skills and attention to detail is admirable . Tony the chef served breakfasts and an evening meal daily . The food was varied and high quality . Margaret and Janelle kept the villa in tip top shape every day . Clean clothes , clean sheets , clean everywhere !!

The villa is just stunning , the setting incredible the outdoor area and soft seating are luxurious .

The golf buggy was used frequently to ferry us back and forth to the well equipt gym. Gentle run or power walks will take you 20 mins each way if you're feeling energetic .

We will certainly be staying again next year .
